WE are in need of children’s workers within our church, so I wanted to take a moment to send this brief letter to you regarding this need.
Back in 1961, far before Ronald Reagan became President or even Governor of California, he gave a powerful quote within the context of a speech to the Phoenix Arizona Chamber of Commerce, and I want you to hear this 1 minute clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDouNtnR_IA (1:08) Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
This letter is an encouragement to our young brothers and sisters searching for diverse ways to serve the Lord and to help you find your way, especially if you have been thinking of training to become a Church Usher.
I am writing to you today (as well as other young people) about the possibilities of becoming a church usher at some point in the future here at (NAME OF CHURCH). With that, most likely a question comes to your mind, and it might go like this: “Why be an usher?”
I am writing you to personally deliver the news that as of (date), I will be stepping down from my post as youth pastor at Christian Life Church. I assure you that this was not an easy decision, but it is time for me to move on to the next steps in God’s plan for my life. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
I trust you are doing well at this wonderful time of the year as we celebrate the advent of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
What an amazing thought it is, to know that the Son of God humbled Himself over 2,000 years ago and came to this earth in the form of a child, born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, died, yet rose again because the power of death could not hold Him! Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note to thank you for your tireless and devoted efforts in our Church Nursery.
Without a doubt, we often get so busy in all of our ministries, we don’t take the time to just appreciate what others are doing, yet I know the ministry you are involved with is of vital importance to the overall effectiveness of our church here in this community. Some Sunday mornings as I prepare for service, I look out the window and I see the church bus pulling in, packed with children from our community. It always makes me smile, but when I stop and really think about what it means, it brings tears to my eyes. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view and/or copy full text!
