Once again, we are entering a new school year, and I wanted to take a moment to send a brief note with an important reminder.
Please take time to pray for those who are teaching and leading our children!
We live in challenging times without a doubt, and while the world continues to stand against the Word of God and His people, we must stay strong in prayer.
While our public schools may not be blessed with the ability to stop their day for a word of prayer, we as Christians can and should pray!
I wanted to take this opportunity to send a letter to our church family as we approach a wonderful time of enjoyment here on the church property.
We are calling it “Fall Family Fun Day,” and we are asking that you not only attend but that you invite your friends to attend as well!
It will be taking place on (DATE) at (TIME).
We plan on having games for the kids to enjoy, ministry displays to share information about our church, and of course, food for everyone! An added benefit is that it's all provided free of charge to our church family and community!
It has often been said that “Children are the church of the future.” While that may be true to an extent, I would choose to differ with that idea as an absolute.
We here at (FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH) believe they are also the church of “now”! So we are happy to have a church filled with people who see the value of reaching the next generation for Jesus.
As adults, most of us can remember back when we were children the joy of spending time on the playground. Whether it was at school or the local playground, it was an exciting time for the children. In addition, parents could spend some valuable time connecting while the children played.
Once again it’s that time of year that kid’s look forward to and some parents dread: Summer vacation! That also means that it’s time for our annual Vacation Bible School, and I want to extend a personal invitation to the children in your household.
