A good church greeting, or church welcome can have a number of values. Here are a few:
Hospitality: A warm and friendly greeting can make visitors feel welcome and accepted at a church. This can be especially important for those who may be new to the church or who may be visiting for the first time.
Community: Greetings can help to create a sense of community and belonging within the church. By actively reaching out and greeting others, church members can show that they care about each other and are invested in building relationships.
Inclusivity: A welcoming greeting can help to create an inclusive and diverse environment within the church. This can be especially important for those who may feel marginalized or excluded in other areas of society.
Evangelism: A friendly greeting can also be an opportunity to share the love of Christ with others. By welcoming people with a warm and open heart, church members can show the love of God to those around them and potentially lead others to a relationship with Jesus.
Overall, a good church greeting, or church welcome can help to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere within the church, which can be beneficial for both members and visitors.
We are delighted you have chosen to worship with us today, and we look forward to all the Lord will do in this service.
Today is a very special day as we take some time during the service to honor those who have graduated from High School, College or Graduate School this year, so please join us in honoring them.
We are glad you chose to worship with us today here at (NAME OF CHURCH), and trust you enjoy the service and are encouraged in the Lord!
While there are times we are encouraged as a result of things that have worked out to our advantage, or even the kind words of a family member or friend, did you know that we must also “encourage ourselves” in the Lord as well?
We are so glad you chose to worship with us today here at (NAME OF CHURCH), and trust you will enjoy the service!
Life can be challenging at times for all of us, and the people who gather together here are no different as we deal with many of the same issues. We realize we are people who are in need and are not ashamed to admit it!
Sports are an amazing thing. Someone has described an American football game as 60,000 spectators desperately in need of exercise observing 22 athletes desperately in need of rest. Similar thoughts could be applied to soccer, basketball, hockey and other sports.
Well, we know that when it comes to worship, God's desire is that each one of us are “participators” and not “spectators”!
