Greetings in Christ!
We are looking forward to a wonderful service the Sunday before Thanksgiving as we take time to appreciate and express our thanks to the Lord for His bountiful blessings in our lives.
I’m reminded a bit about a tremendous story in the Bible, Luke 17:11-19 where Jesus healed ten lepers. Yet, while 9 of the lepers went their way rejoicing in their healing, only 1 of them in fact turned around to go back to express his thanks to the Lord for the miracle that had taken place in his life.
Imagine that! 1 out of 10 said thank you! We are often so quick to correct and instruct our children when it comes to the importance of saying, “thank you.” You and I are challenged on a weekly basis, and yes, even daily, to express our love and appreciation to the Lord.

We are thrilled to have so many with us today who are the first to respond to our call in times of need. While we hope we never have to make that call, it's always comforting to know that help is a matter of minutes away. There have been a few times over the years we've even had to call for help even after gathering here for Church on a Sunday.
