I would like to extend a warm welcome to our (NAME OF SCHOOL) Dinner and Auction!
Without a doubt, the years pass quickly and while it seems like only yesterday we were gathered together, indeed it has been a year since that time and we are now presented with another opportunity to bless (NAME OF SCHOOL) in a tangible and generous way.
I am writing this letter to let you know of an urgent situation here at (NAME OF CHURCH), and to ask for you to prayerfully consider the following requests.
First of all, we are asking that you lift us up in your thoughts and especially, your prayers. The Bible is clear that when we agree in prayer together, God is able to work miracles; Matthew 18:19-20 (KJV) 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree
There is a beautiful little statement concerning three types of givers, which I enjoy reading now and then, and I trust you will as well.
There are three kinds of givers—the flint, the sponge, and the honeycomb. To get anything out of a flint, you must hammer it. And then you get only chips and sparks. To get water out of a sponge, you must squeeze it, and the more you use pressure, the more you will get. But the honeycomb overflows with its own sweetness.
I wanted to be sure to follow up with you on behalf of the congregation and leadership here at (NAME OF CHURCH) to let you know how much we appreciated you sharing your heart and vision for (NAME OF MINISTRY) this past Sunday. Your passion for this ministry came through greatly!
We here at (NAME OF CHURCH) would like to extend our sincere thanks to you for your generous support of this ministry through a gift of appraised real estate.
Enclosed with this letter, you will find a receipt of the details of your gift and you are encouraged to retain this receipt to assist you in any proof of giving for tax deductions on your tax return.
