I was thrilled to see you back in church, and I was even more thrilled to learn that you are very serious about lining your life back up with God’s will. It’s not always an easy thing to come back to God once we’ve made mistakes. I want you to know that God is pleased with your decision, and I am very proud of you for taking this first step. I would like to invite you to participate in what I believe will be a spiritually enriching challenge this year. I am reaching out to members of the [CHURCH NAME] family through this letter to ask that they consider reading the Bible in one year. Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
It is with great joy that I write to congratulate you on your decision to accept Christ into your life. It was thrilling to hear of your decision, and I want to be one of the first to let you know that it is by far the most important choice you will ever make. I wanted to take a moment to send you this letter of encouragement today as you walk through this moment of difficulty in your life. Notice I used the word “moment”, because I believe we are often captivated by what seems to be difficulties that will last “forever”, yet in light of eternity, it is just a moment! I write briefly to again congratulate you on your recent Water Baptism here at First Christian Church.
Water Baptism is a vital part of the Christian life, and is a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is also a symbol of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord and declares to the world that you have “died to sin”, yet have risen to new life in Christ. Col. 2:12 “having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.” Logged in Members, CLICK HERE to view full text!
