Missions is at the heart of what Christ is all about! When Jesus came to the earth over 2,000 years ago it’s clear that He came to “seek and to save that which was lost”.

Dear Mr. Smith:
One of my favorite scriptures is found in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.”
We do not always know why God calls us to do what he calls us to do; only that He has a reason and that we need to be obedient to His call.
It is a blessing to serve God in the mission field each and every day. It is an even greater blessing to know that “Before they (we) call, I (he) will answer; and while they (we) are yet speaking I (He) will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24)
We know that God knows what we need before we even pray or ask for it. We know that He is able to meet those needs, and we trust Him to do so. He has been faithful and true to His word.
“We thank God for our every remembrance of you . . .” We often think of life back home and all of you who worship together and we miss you badly. However, we also know that we have been called, “For such a time as this.” We know with uncertainty that we are where God has called us and wants us to be.
Thank you for the kind and thoughtful gift that you sent us this month. It is a blessing to have fellow believers who support the work that God has called us to do.
God is doing great things here, and He has blessed our ministry in major ways. We have been able to meet many people, some who are saved and some who are not. We have many opportunities to share the love of God, and your gift will help us do just that.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith:
Thank you for your prayers and support of our mission work. While it is a rewarding experience and one we know without doubt that God called us to, it can oftentimes be overwhelming. It seems there is so much to do and so little time to do it.
