These Pastor Appreciation Letter Samples are a great way for Churches to bless those who are serving the Lord in the calling of Pastor.
The Bible encourages us to “give honor where honor is due”. We believe this is both a wonderful thing to do, but also comes with great blessing for church leadership.
These letters are written by a Pastor with over 35 years of ministry experience. They will be a great addition to ministry efforts!
I am writing to you in order to invite you to a special appreciation fellowship for our pastors wife. Pastor Doe is not the only one who makes sacrifices for the good of First Christian Church.
We thought a fellowship in her honor would be a most appropriate way to show Mrs. Doe how much we love and appreciate all that she does. The manner in which she supports Pastor Doe’s ministry results in blessings for all of us.
I just wanted to take a moment to briefly write to let you know how much I appreciate the work you are doing with our Young People here at First Christian Church.
We often get so caught up in doing our own “work” around here that we forget to express appreciation.
I wanted to write to let you know how much I appreciate you. You have served this congregation as pastor with wisdom, prayerfulness and faithfulness. Your service does not go unnoticed.
Of course, you have taught us well that the only appreciation that really matters comes from God, and I am sure that He has taken notice of all that you have done, and continue to do, for First Christian Church.
As has been previously announced, Pastor John Doe will be retiring from his full-time ministerial duties as of 01/01/01. It is with a mix of sadness and joy that I invite you to attend a special retirement service in his honor. While I know that he has put in many years of service to the Lord, and has earned a time of rest, I am sad to see such a fine man of God step down from the pulpit at First Christian Church.
On Sunday evening, May 15th at 6:00 P.M., our church will be hosting a retirement dinner and banquet for Pastor Mark Smith. We hope you will join us for this time of recognition for Pastor Mark and his selfless service to our church over the course of the past twenty-five years.
